Anlo Van Deventer

Anlo is a South African born, Kiwi raised Physiotherapist. She completed her undergrad training at Auckland University of Technology before working within private practice for the next five years in Auckland. Over this time, she continued to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy through the University of Otago.

Through several years in private practice she gained experience within the sporting field, working as the physio for Auckland University Rugby Club before jumping across the ditch to Brisbane in 2021. It was here that she was fortunate enough to be working full time with the Queensland Fire and WBBL Brisbane Heat, gaining invaluable experience with elite athletes in the high performance setup.

Anlo has come from NZ with an extensive background in playing semi-professional cricket and it is here that her passion for working with athletes began. Anlo is incredibly passionate in the role she can play in improving health outcomes and has a focus towards those with sport-related injuries, including pre and post operative management with a predominant focus on manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation. She also loves getting to know her clients and aims to form strong relationships with them which she feels will only make rehabilitation that much more enjoyable!

In her free time, she enjoys being active, playing cricket and getting out to explore Australia where she can!
