Pilates is a very popular form of exercise and offered widely in the fitness community. At Elite however we use reformer pilates not just as a form of exercise but offer it to be specific to the individual to target muscle activation, weaknesses and biomechanical compensations. Reformer pilates is a great tool for injury recovery but also as a preventative exercise to strengthen your compound and intrinsic muscles to allow full body co-ordination. Additionally, pilates is a fantastic tool for women planning to get pregnant, prenatal and post-natal. Supporting your body during this time is key for a healthy and easy pregnancy and that tough post-natal period.

Each class is based on the individual needs in a small group environment versus a fitness studio which give programs to the masses. Each class will start with muscle activation for the muscle group that will be targeted, empowering you to understand your bodies needs and restrictions so we can “wake up” and strengthen your body.
Pre pilates assessment – If you are new to the clinic, one of our friendly therapists can do a full review of your injury history or current injuries to help you reach your exercise goals!
Pre and Post Natal classes – All classes are open to new mummies and new mummies to be.
